DECOY BRIDE Casting Announcement05/17/2010
Casarotto are delighted to announce that Neil Jaworski’s romantic comedy DECOY BRIDE, which is directed by Sheree Folkson, will star David Tennant, Kelly MacDonald and Alice Eve.
The Decoy Bride tells the story of a superstar actress, Lara (Eve), who heads to the sleepy Scottish Island of Hegg to marry her British boyfriend James (Tennant) out of the limelight. But when an ingenious paparazzo tracks them down, the diva recruits local girl Katie (Macdonald) to act as a DECOY BRIDE but when Katie meets James, sparks fly.
The film is being produced by Robert Bernstein and Douglas Rae of Ecosse Films and Paul Ritchie. It is being sold by HanWay Films in Cannes, and will be distributed by Cinema NX in the UK.

RTS Student Television Awards 201005/10/2010
Congratulations to our writer client, MAHALIA RIMMER, who picked up two prizes at this year’s Royal Television Society Student Awards. BRIXTON 85 won the award in the Postgraduate Fiction catagory, and YELLOW BELLY END received the Postgraduate Animation award.
