BRITISH COMEDY AWARDS 2011

Congratulations to Director DAVID KERR and Writer TOM BASDEN, as the hit new Channel Four series 'Fresh Meat' received the award for Best New Comedy at the British Comedy Awards Show 2011, broadcast live last Friday 16th.

The second series of 'Stewart Lee's Comedy Vehicle', directed by TIM KIRKBY, picked up the award for Best Comedy Entertainment Programme; Lee himself won the Award for Best Male Television Comic.

Later the 'Have I Got News For You' team received a special Lifetime Achievement Award.  Presenter IAN HISLOP and Writer GED PARSONS were among those who collected the prestigious accolade.
