Akemnji "AK" Ndifornyen is a British writer, freelance producer, actor and composer who won the 2019 BAFTA award for Breakthrough Talent. He is best known for showrunning the hit BBC sketch comedy series FAMALAM, which has run for three series on BBC3 and BBC1. As well as producing the show, AK composed the show's music, has written sketches and has appeared in the programme as an actor. AK also recently created and produced a taster for an entertainment show starring Samson Kayo for Channel 4 entitled COLONEL BANJOKO. On the writing side AK has two sitcoms in development with BBC Studios and is set to co-write a new project for John Boyega’s Upper Room, as well as co-writing a pilot script for The Africa Channel. AK is represented as an actor by Curtis Brown and can be seen in SHRILL, THE JAVONE PRINCE SHOW, DEATH IN PARADISE, LEONARDO and most recently THE QUEEN'S GAMBIT.
