Tom Houghton


A former member of improv comedy group The Noise Next Door, Tom was raised amongst the height of the British Upper Class, he attended boarding school from 6 years old, his father is the ex-professional head of the entire UK Armed forces, he currently resides in The Tower of London, his dad has just been made a Lord and Tom is now ‘The Honourable’… so naturally, a career in comedy beckoned!

Funny and charming, with roguish tales and hilarious songs, Tom Houghton is star on the rise. Following a sell-out debut in 2017, in 2018 Tom returned to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with his second sell out solo show The Honourable: Tom Houghton, which went on to run at the Soho Theatre. Tom followed up this year with rave reviews for his most recent show, That's What I Go To School For.

Tom is also a regular across our TV screens,with appearances on Comedy Blaps, First Dates Hotel (both Channel 4), The Jim Jeffries Show for Comedy Central and Comedy Central’s Roast Battle alongside fellow comic Lauren Pattison.

Tom is currently developing his first sitcom alongside a packed gig diary, including invitations to perform at Altitude Festival, Montreux Comedy Festival, Montreux’s Comedy Gala in Dubai , Johannesburg International Comedy Festival and the New Zealand International Comedy Festival.

In 2020 he'll be supporting Milton Jones on a nationwide UK tour, as well as working on a number of exciting solo projects, including his brand new podcast for Global, Class Dismissed, available to listen and download HERE.
