Bunny Christie’s extensive work for the National Theatre includes THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT TIME, which transferred to the West End and Broadway and won her Olivier and Tony Awards for Best Set Design. She has also won Olivier Awards for THE WHITE GUARD and A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE, and an Evening Standard Award for BABY DOLL, all at the National.

Other theatre work includes the all-women JULIUS CAESAR and HENRY IV at the Donmar Warehouse, with both shows transferring to St Ann’s Warehouse in New York. She recently designed MADE IN DAGENHAM at The Adelphi Theatre with Rupert Goold in 2014, HUSBANDS AND SONS, which opened at the National in 2015 before moving to the Royal Exchange Manchester in 2016, PEOPLE, PLACES AND THINGS which transferred from the National to the West End in 2016, THE RED BARN which opened at the National at the end of 2016, and INK at the Almeida Theatre in early 2017.

Opera work includes MEDEA for the ENO, and TOSCA and the world premiere of Andre Previn’s BRIEF ENCOUNTER for Houston Grand Opera. Film work includes SWANSONG with John Gielgud, which was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Short Film.
