Alastair Curtis

Alastair Curtis is a writer whose debut short film SWEETHEART premiered at Sundance in 2025, where it was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize. The film went on to be shown at the Iris Prize, where it was nominated for both the main festival prize and Best British Short, and at Aesthetica Film Festival. It is currently available to stream on Channel 4.

Alastair is also the founder of The AIDS Plays Project, a campaign to restage and republish plays by queer writers who were lost to HIV/AIDS. The Project recently ran for a third season at London Performance Studios, where Alastair is an Associate Artist.
