Charlotte is a wonderfully talented young LGBTQ+ screenwriter, director and actor. Her writing is female led, dark and always laced with acerbic wit. Charlotte’s original comedy drama series is in development with South of the River Pictures, and she is also developing a cul-de-sac comedy drama series with Buddy Club Productions. Federation UK have commissioned Charlotte to write her original comedy drama feature, and there is currently a bidding war ongoing in the US over Charlotte’s queer Christmas rom-com feature. Also in the US, Charlotte has an original comedy drama series entitled DEATH DO US PART with Mark Gordon Pictures, and she is currently re-writing a series created by showrunner Sheila Lawrence for Amazon US. Charlotte’s further TV writing credits include writing an episode of HANNA for NBC Universal/Working Title for Amazon, and participating in writers rooms for black comedy series PERSONAL ASSISTANCE (South of the River), Nick Love’s action drama series FOREIGN LEGION (Working Title) and comedy series SIRENS (BBC Studios). As a director Charlotte’s debut short film EVERYBODY DIES SOMETIMES…won Best British Short at the British Short Film Awards.
