Alum of The Oxford School of Drama Christina began her career in front of the camera and has pivoted to writing starting with the playwriting course at the NT. Christina wrote coming of age comedy-drama Ag Briseadh Tríd (Breaking Through) for Keeper Pictures whilst developing Vernon’s – an ensemble family comedy and is currently writing Abhaile (Home) a heartwarming road trip feature for Village Film funded by BBC NI, Screen Ireland and Northern Ireland Screen’s Gealan Scheme. She graduated last year from Brunel University with an MA in Creative Writing and is writing her debut novel for which she made the shortlist of The Comedy Women in Print Prize 2023 for Unpublished Novel and highlighted as “anarchic and daring” by the panel. Christina has had poetry published by Dreich Magazine, Black Flowers, and commissioned by London Irish Centre and she writes in both Irish and English.
