David is an Australian set and costume designer working locally and internationally, across theatre, dance and opera. David was co-resident designer for Sydney Theatre Company through 2012-2013, was the recipient of the 2016 Kristian Fredrikson Scholarship, the 2020 Thelma Afford Award for costume design in stage and screen, and teaches as an associate lecturer for the National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA).

David holds a Bachelor of Dramatic Arts in Design from the National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA)
