David worked in physical production for 10 years on films such as CASINO ROYALE and HITCHHIKER’S GUIDE TO THE GALAXY, rising to the level of production manager before making the transition to his first love of screenwriting. He wrote the BAFTA-nominated single drama CYBERBULLY, which aired on Channel 4 in 2015 to rave reviews; it also scored an RTS nomination, two nominations at the Broadcast Awards and won the Mind Media drama award for raising awareness of mental health issues. A four-year stint in Los Angeles saw him developing several projects, working with director Michael Mann, George Clooney & Grant Heslov’s Smokehouse Pictures, Nat Geo, Playground Entertainment and wiip. He also produced the award-winning documentary SCATTERING CJ. Now back in London, his current development slate includes projects with Big Talk, Imperative Entertainment and BBC Films.
