Dillon is a bright young screenwriter specialising in comedy and drama and a former president of the Cambridge Footlights. He is currently assistant to multi-award winning writer/director/producer Armando Iannucci, working across Iannucci’s Film & TV slate. Dillon has contributed additional material to Iannucci’s much-anticipated new HBO comedy series, AVENUE 5, which stars Hugh Laurie, Suzy Nakamura and Rebecca Front, working alongside a team of Emmy Award-winning writers such as Will Smith, Ian Martin, Simon Blackwell, Georgia Pritchett and Sean Gray.

His original sitcom FIX MY BRAIN, which tackles male mental health, has been optioned by Eleven, and his comedy drama EVERYONE ELSE BURNS is in development with Jax Media and NBC Universal for Channel 4. Dillon was also recently commissioned to write a 5 x 5 minute short form comedy series for All4 for the brand Balmain.

DIllon was awarded the Dancing Ledge Writer in Residence bursary and has also written sketches for BBC3 Online and BBC Radio 4. He has a wealth of experience in live comedy, including writing and co-directing a sell-out Cambridge Footlights tour show that played at venues like iO West (Los Angeles), Second City (Chicago) and Upright Citizens Brigade (New York). His double-act project with Oliver Taylor, also called FIX MY BRAIN, received critical acclaim (★★★★★ Voice, Varsity, Highly Recommended – Fringe Review) and in 2018, it was nominated for Best Newcomer at Brighton Fringe and picked up for a run at VAULT Festival.
