Ebenezer Bamgboye

Ebenezer is an award-nominated theatre director and the current programming associate at Southwark Playhouse. He has been nominated for the Emerging Talent Award at the Evening Standard Theatre Awards and has twice been nominated for Best Director at the OffWestEnd Awards. Previous work includes THE ANARCHIST (2022) at Jermyn Street Theatre and THE LONELY LONDONERS (2024) also at Jermyn Street Theatre, which garnered five Offie nominations, five star reviews in the Guardian and Telegraph and a transfer to the Kiln Theatre. Ebenezer was previously the deputy director of Jermyn Street from 2021-2022, a resident director at the Almeida Theatre from 2019-2021 and is a recent graduate of the National Theatre Studio Directors Course. Ebenezer will next be directing DESIRE UNDER THE ELMS by Eugene O'Neill at the Almeida as part of Rupert Goold's final season.
