Eleanor Lawrence is a brilliantly talented writer, performer and stand-up comedian, who is currently head of scripted development for Lucky 17.
Eleanor is also developing her own original sitcom with Expectation Entertainment and recently wrote for this year's BRIT Awards. Her other work includes lead writing and adapting the Emmy Award winning international comedy series BERLIN BERLIN for Studio Hamburg, co-writing scripts with comedians Arabella Weir and Meera Syal, and co-writing and co-starring with Tom Davis in the comedy short film SUNSHINE SIMON, which was part of the COMMON GROUND series made by Baby Cow for Sky Atlantic. She also completed a Kickstarter campaign to fund her comedy documentary web series, LOOKING FOR LEO.
Eleanor is also a talented playwright and performer who has had short form plays performed at the Lyric Hammersmith and at the Old Vic Theatre under the New Voices Scheme. As an actress, Eleanor has appeared in SKINS, PHONESHOP and THE JAVONE PRINCE SHOW.
