Ella Hickson

Ella Hickson is an award-winning playwright whose work has been performed throughout the UK and abroad. Her adaptation of ‘Oedipus’, starring Rami Malek & Indira Varma, opened at the Old Vic in 2025. Other theatre includes 'Adult Children' at the Donmar (2021), ‘Anna’ - a sonic collaboration with Ben and Max Ringham - at the National Theatre (2019), 'Swive’ at The Globe Theatre (2019), ‘The Writer’ and ‘Oil’ at The Almeida Theatre (2018 and 2016 respectively), and ‘Wendy and Peter Pan’ at The Royal Shakespeare Company (2015). She is a member of the Royal Society of Literature, a MacDowell Fellow and recipient of The Catherine Johnson Award.
