Ellis Howard is a recent graduate from The Guildhall School and is represented as an actor by Gordon & French.

His debut comedy drama series LOUIS is in development with Sid Gentle. Ellis is developing the series under the tutelage of James Graham.

Ellis has been working as an actor at HBO and The National Theatre and the Barbican alongside creating his own work. He began creating political theatre with BRASS RAZOO, a verbatim piece about inequality, which launched national policy around child poverty in 2015 after performances at the Houses of Parliament, Webb Memorial Trust and Bright Blue think tanks.

His most recent theatre piece, TALK TO THE DOG, helped shape policy around male mental health and his latest short film, WE ARE NOT IN THE SAME BOAT, depicted the undocumented working class perspective of Coronavirus is being used by the Marcus Rashford and Church Action Against Poverty campaign to help end child hunger in Britain.

During the COVID-19 lockdown, Ellis created video diaries on how the pandemic disproportionately affected working class communities. These videos spread across media channels and reached an audience of over 1 million people. You can watch his debut video here.
