Ellis Howard is a writer-performer who is currently developing projects with Sid Gentle (under the mentorship of James Graham), Mammoth Screen, Eleven Film, Federation Entertainment, See-Saw Films, Pure Fiction and Moonage Pictures, and is co-writing another original series for Bad Wolf alongside Toheeb Jimoh.

Ellis has also previously worked with HBO, the National Theatre and the Barbican, having begun creating political theatre with BRASS RAZOO, which launched national policy change around child poverty in 2015, and TALK TO THE DOG.

As an actor, Ellis recently starred in the BBC adaptation of Paris Lees’ memoir WHAT IT FEELS LIKE FOR A GIRL produced by Hera. He can also be seen in Jack Thorne’s HELP, RED ROSE, and made his West End debut as Dill in TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD.
