Emma Grazette

Emma Grazette is a British-Barbadian producer and co-director of Raucous Pictures, a London-based company specialising in international co-productions. With 13 years in the industry, she has produced on Seasons 14 and 15 of Red Planet’s Death in Paradise (for BBC) on location in Guadeloupe.

She has on-the-ground experience of shooting in the Caribbean and a strong interest in stories from the region, alongside a broader slate of international work. Raucous Pictures holds expertise in structuring international co-productions, is developing five feature films with BBC Film and the BFI as well as several television series. Most recently they completed a minority co-production on The Birthday Party, starring Willem Dafoe, which premiered at the Locarno Film Festival.

Emma holds an MA in Producing from the NFTS, supported by a BAFTA scholarship, and a BA in English and Caribbean Literature. Both of her graduation films earned top honours: one won a Student Academy Award and the other received Gold at Cannes Lions. She was part of the first cohort of Channel 4 / We Are Parable’s Momentum programme supporting Black British filmmakers and has been mentored by producer Joy Gharoro-Akpojotor (Dreamers, Champions) and Claudia Yusef, former Head of Development at BBC Film.

In 2025, Emma was selected for Creative England’s Female Founders programme, a competitive initiative supporting 15 female-led screen businesses in England to prepare for investment and growth. She also took part in the Cross Continental Forum in Barbados, a five-day programme for 26 producers across the UK, Canada, Africa, Europe, and the Caribbean, focused on building co-production networks across the global South.

She is available for producing, story producing, executive producing, and associate producing opportunities, and is actively looking to meet writers and directors with an eye to expand her slate of feature projects.
