Emma is an emerging producer with over a decade of industry experience. After a successful 10-year career as a food writer and chef – in which she co-created and presented a 6-part series for Channel 4 – Emma signed up for the 2 Year Producing MA at The National Film and Television School, where she was awarded a BAFTA scholarship and received sponsorship from a major UK production company. Emma's stop motion graduation short was shortlisted for the BAFTA Yugo award, a semifinalist for the student Oscars and premiered at the Edinburgh Film Festival. Her live-action graduation film won the gold YDA at Cannes Lions. In 2021, she took part in the BFI Producers Lab and was in the first cohort of We Are Parable/ Channel 4’s “Momentum” industry mentoring programme, and was chosen to take part in the Pro-Create/ TNBFC year-long programme. Before her MA, Emma worked in film exhibition, on location crews and as a runner for large-scale features and high-end TV productions. Presently, Emma is actively engaged in developing a feature with Air Street Film and The Bureau, and co-producing an adaptation of Shirley Bassey's life with Rainy Day Films. She is producing a music video for VLF Records and lead a commercial project for YouTube earlier this year. Emma is invested in working with underrepresented creatives and has garnered interest from industry heavyweights as she actively seeks slate and development finance while establishing global co-production partnerships.
