Hannah Jones

Hannah Jones is a proud, scouse, working-class, intersex, trans actor and writer. She recently starred in the screen-stealing role of Sasha for the critically acclaimed BBC series WHAT IT FEELS LIKE FOR A GIRL. On the writing front, she has an original political drama in development with Hera Pictures, and has an original pilot set within a space where drug dealing and queer sex work collide, entitled STRAIGHT DROP. Hannah has just been selected for the BBC Writers Room North collective, plus the Gatecrashers BFI writers lab with her feature BENEATH THE SURFACE, which is a queer, mythical romantic thriller and has been awarded the OKRA bursary, development finance and writing support for working class creatives.
