Jasmine Jagger is an author, script editor and screenwriter with a doctorate in Victorian and modern English literature from Cambridge with 2 years of experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Lecturer in English Literature (1800 to the present day) at Oxford University. Most recently she worked with Lily James as a script editor on ‘Rebecca’, adapted from the du Maurier classic by Jane Goldman for Working Title/Netflix and directed by Ben Wheatley. Jasmine is incredibly well-versed in classic texts with a passion to explore well-known stories in new ways. She is currently script editing ‘Baby Reindeer’ by Richard Gadd, adapting George Eliot’s ‘Middlemarch’ into a limited series, and writing a contemporary series and feature.
