Joe and Lloyd are a hugely successful and comedy writing duo who own their own production company, Mondo Deluxe. Together they have created and written three comedy series which were commissioned by Sky, Comedy Central and the BBC (PARENTS, BIG BAD WORLD & WITLESS).
WITLESS, starring Kerry Howard and Zoe Boyle, was produced by Objective Fiction and was listed as one of 5 comedies not to miss in 2016 by the Royal Television Society. It was nominated for a Rose d’Or Award and has also recently been optioned for a US incarnation with Funny or Die.
Joe and Lloyd also wrote and produced CLICK & COLLECT via Mondo Deluxe Productions, a one off Christmas special for BBC starring Asim Chaudry and Stephen Merchant. They are also currently co-creating another BBC comedy project entitled BLACK OPS with Akemnji Ndifornyen and Gbemisola Ikumelo.
Other recent work includes writing an episode of THE YOUNG OFFENDERS for BBC3 and writing and producing a one-off comedy special for BBC Radio 4 called RUDE NOT TO, which they are now planning to adapt for television.
Joe also writes and directs short films including HOW MUCH FOR MY BROTHER, SCOUTING FOR RUDEBOYS and FOR THE LOVE OF GOD which won numerous awards including the RTS Best Student Animation and the Sundance Short Filmmaking Award. Lloyd is also a performer and is in the critically acclaimed sketch group COWARDS with Tim Key, Tom Basden and Stefan Golaszewski.
