Jozua Malherbe

Jozua directs across film and TV and has won every directing award in South Africa for his work. In TV he has directed scores of hours for SA’s premier cable channels before he directed the opening block of heist action/thriller Justice Served for Netflix which was the streamers biggest budget local production to date (TX July 2022). Last year Jozua directed season 2 of M-Net and Acorn’s Recipes For Love And Murder and wrote on kykNET’s Die Nuusmakers whilst developing an original feature with Nthibah Pictures (Boy Kills World). 2025 saw Jozua wrap post on a TV single for Lifetime about the (previous) devastating California wildfires and is now in production on Deon Meyer title The Invisible for the author’s Scene23 and ITV Studios. The five part TV adaptation of Deon Meyer’s previous series Devil’s Peak was for Expanded Media/LookOut Point and BBC Studios/M-Net on which he directed all five episodes.
