Julie Fernandez

Julie is a full-time wheelchair user who brings over three decades of production experience to her role as an Access Coordinator (AC) and agent.

Her experience on and off screen and as a disability consultant is the reason she has been so seminal in creating the process of how Access Coordinators can work affordably and accountably on all productions. She's trained and supervised ACs in the UK, Australia, New Zealand with more countries on the way, and having appeared as an actor in the award-winning show The Office and many other UK shows, she brings her years of experience working on sets into the role of the AC.

Julie has also presented and appeared in factual entertainment shows including Wish You Were Here, Heaven and Earth, and the Politics Show. As a vocal advocate for disability rights Julie has written, produced, and hosted, a number of award-winning documentaries for BBC Radio 4.
