Kodjo Tsakpo

An ambitious, conscientious and cinematically driven director with eight years’ experience crafting performance-led drama for ITV, the BBC, Channel 4 and U. Kodjo made a number of award-winning short films – one of which, DETOUR, was picked up by HBO for a two-year US distribution license - before advancing through the BBC New Director’s Scheme at Doctors to direct Hollyoaks (including episodes with stunt work), EastEnders, Coronation Street and The Sister Boniface Mysteries. Kodjo was selected for the Channel 4 & Sony backed programme MOMENTUM by We Are Parable for HETV mentoring, and was part of the Channel 4 x Leap Programme for Black British directors.
