Nana-Kofi Kufuor

Nana-Kofi Kufuor is a playwright and screenwriter from Stockport, Manchester.

He is currently Associate Artist at Oldham Coliseum and Silent Uproar Theatre Company, and he was Writer-On-Attachment to Box of Tricks. MY VOICE WAS HEARD BUT IT WAS IGNORED was nominated for ‘Best Production Play’ at the Black British Theatre Awards 2022, and AN UNNAMED ESTATE was shortlisted for the Theatre Uncut Political Playwriting Award in 2019.

Alongside his writing, Nana-Kofi has worked with some of the country’s most vulnerable young people through mentorships in Pupil Referral Units.
