Louise Hooper

Louise Hooper is an acclaimed British drama director, recently selected by Amazon MGM Studios’ Jennifer Salke as one of her 25 female trailblazers. Highly imaginative and innovative, Louise has just directed four episodes of the recent series of RINGS OF POWER, LORD OF THE RINGS for AMAZON. Prior to this, she was lead director on the propulsive thriller TREASON for Netflix; She directed both the finale and bonus episode of Neil Gaiman's SANDMAN for Warner Bros / Netflix, directed the Netflix hit THE WITCHER and turned her hand to the UK’s most prestigious comedy, directing two gloriously surreal episodes of INSIDE NUMBER 9 for BBC. Louise began her career directing Arts documentaries for the BBC and was BAFTA nominated for OUR GAY WEDDING: THE MUSICAL. Louise is celebrated for her infectious and collaborative energy on set, with a particular focus on giving the cast and crew a supportive, joyous, safe space in which to thrive. Louise is now turning her considerable focus and skill to her original slate of development for her company Louise Hooper Films.
