Naomi Gibney has an 8-part factually based mystery drama series, UNRESOLVED, with Bad Wolf Productions, an adaptation of an international bestselling novel for BAFTA winning and Emmy nominated director Kari Skogland’s Mad Rabbit/Red Arrow Entertainment, and an adaptation of hotly contested debut novel THE COLOUR OF BEE LARKHAM’S MURDER for Frank Spotnitz’s Big Light Productions/BBC Scotland. Naomi is currently in the writers room for Big Light and Sky Italia’s second series of financial thriller THE DEVILS starring Patrick Dempsey. For ITV Studios company Silverprint Films, Naomi is developing female led drama series PERFECT, an original horror series GREY MANOR, and an adaptation of crime thriller CRITICAL INCIDENTS. For film, Naomi is currently adapting US author Travis Mulhauser’s debut novel SWEETGIRL, about a fearless sixteen year old girl’s search for her missing mother which leads to a life or death struggle in the harsh frozen landscape of the upper Midwest, as a feature for Steve Buscemi’s Olive Productions. Olive Productions are also developing Naomi’s original international thriller series, entitled TOPLESS. Previously to becoming a full time writer, Naomi Gibney started work in advertising, moving on to senior roles in TV, where she was ultimately responsible for marketing all of the BBC’s TV channels, and then marketing and re-branding all Sky’s TV channels and launching Sky Atlantic, where she then became Channel Controller.
