Nicôle Lecky is a writer, actor, and singer-songwriter. Her critically acclaimed stage monologue SUPERHOE, developed with Talawa and The Yard Theatre, played at The Royal Court Theatre in 2019. The six-part television adaptation of SUPERHOE, retitled MOOD and produced by Bonafide Films, debuted on BBC3 and AMC in 2022. Nicôle wrote and executive produced all six episodes of the show, in which she also plays the lead role, and co-wrote and performed the music. Nicôle picked up two BAFTA Awards for Best Mini-Series and Original Soundtrack for MOOD alongside two RTS awards earlier this year. Nicôle’s new six-part original series WILD CHERRY for Firebird Pictures and BBC One is currently in post-production.

Nicôle's acting credits include SWEETPEA for Sky Atlantic, SENSE8 for Netflix and BBC1's DEATH IN PARADISE. Nicôle is also starring in the upcoming Noah Baumbach film JAY KELLY starring George Clooney and Adam Slander. She previously won a BAFTA Breakthrough Award in 2022 as well as the Netflix New Talent Award at the Women in Film & TV Awards.
