Paige Rattray

Paige Rattray is an award-winning director and dramaturg working across stage and screen, based between London and Sydney. She is one of Australia’s most prolific directors and was Director of New Work and Artistic Development at Sydney Theatre Company from 2022 to 2024, having previously served as Associate Director (2018–2022) and STC’s Richard Wherrett Fellow (2015–2016).
Paige directed the UK premiere of FANGIRLS at the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre in 2024, co-produced by Sonia Friedman Productions, following critically acclaimed seasons at Belvoir Street Theatre, Queensland Theatre and Sydney Opera House, and a national tour. The production won the 2019 Sydney Theatre Award for Best Mainstage Musical and the Matilda Award for Best Musical or Cabaret, among other accolades. Paige worked with Kip Williams as Production Dramaturg on the hit West End Production of A PICTURE OF DORIAN GRAY, Starring Sarah Snook.
Paige is currently developing and directing the world premiere of ROLEPLAY by Hannah Riley, due to open at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2026, as well as developing projects with SFP and Chris Harper Productions. On the screen side, she is currently attached to direct a feature film with Goalpost Pictures and is developing an original series with Dreamchaser Productions.
