Paul is a highly experienced British writer, script editor, producer, comedian and presenter. In 2016 Paul won the prestigious Grierson Award for Best Presenter for his BBC documentary PARKINSON’S: THE FUNNY SIDE. As a writer Paul currently has a 90 minute comedy drama script on the same subject in development with Endor and the BBC.
Paul’s other credits include THE VICAR OF DIBLEY, ESIO TROT, MY HERO and script editing several series of MRS BROWN’S BOYS. He previously worked as a Comedy Commissioner for BBC Radio.
Last year Paul debuted his hour long stand-up comedy show INCURABLE OPTIMIST at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The show was produced by Berk’s Nest Productions and directed by Katie Churchill.
