Her debut feature film, ADULT LIFE SKILLS, was nominated for six BIFA awards and won two including Best Debut Screenwriter. The film also went on to win the Nora Ephron Prize at Tribeca Film Festival and Best Debut Screenwriter from the Writers Guild. Rachel co-wrote the film MILITARY WIVES for Lionsgate starring Kristin Scott Thomas and Sharon Horgan and most recently co-wrote the much anticipated sequel to CHICKEN RUN, which had its world premiere at London Film Festival 2023 and was nominated for a BAFTA in 2024. Her short film EMOTIONAL FUSEBOX was nominated for a BAFTA for Best Live-Action Short and a BIFA for Best Short. Beginning her career as an editor Rachel is now a highly sought after screenwriter for both films and television. Rachel is currently penning a second feature for Pathe called BUCKINGHAM PALACE GIRL GUIDES as well as adapting Marian Keyes’ much loved novel THE BREAK for Studio Canal which will be produced by Damian Jones. She is also writing an original feature for Mint Pictures, working on animated features for Aardman and nWave, and is developing an original TV series for Working Title.
