Ruby Thomas is an actor, writer and voice artist. She has acted in film, TV and theatre, including for Headlong Theatre Company, Sheffield Crucible, ITV, the BBC and Sky. In 2016 she wrote and performed her own comedy show CHICK at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, directed by Mathew Horne. The show transferred to Soho Theatre as part of Soho Rising and she is in the process of turning several sketches into short films. She is also developing her webseries SETTLING with Neuron Productions. She completed the Soho Writers Lab course 2016/17. Steve Marmion directed a rehearsed reading of her play EITHER in 2016 and subsequently she was given a seed commission to develop it with Soho Theatre, with a reading in Autumn 2017. She has had short plays performed at the Old Red Lion, Platform Southwark, the White Bear and Theatre503 and is writing two new plays.
