Ruby Thomas is a playwright, screenwriter, and actor. She was part of the Soho Writers’ Lab (2016/17) and the Royal Court Supergroups (2018/19) and joined the Channel 4 Playwrights’ Scheme in 2020. Her plays Either, The Animal Kingdom, and Linck & Mulhahn have all been produced by Hampstead Theatre. Ruby is currently under commission to write a new play for Hampstead and for the Manhattan Theatre Club in New York. Ruby also writes extensively for screen, most recently contributing to A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, produced by Moonage for BBC/Netflix. She is also writing an original film for Lobo and another for Genesius Pictures and new series for Playground Entertainment.
