Sam Pinnell

Sam Pinnell is a hugely experienced freelance series producer and development producer. She has recently been an Executive Producer on season 5 of TRYING at BBC Studios for Apple TV, having worked across the previous three series. She has also just produced the first season of new show IT GETS WORSE for A24, which launches on Channel 4 in the UK in Autumn 2026.

Sam also recently produced THE FIRST TEAM with Fudge Park for the BBC as well as the second series of the hugely popular DERRY GIRLS for Hat Trick/Channel 4, and the second series of MOTHERLAND for Merman/BBC. She also produced the second series of the critically acclaimed series FLOWERS, starring Olivia Colman and Julian Barratt for Channel Four, and written and directed by Will Sharpe for Kudos/Naomi De Pear. Sam also produced all three series of DRIFTERS for E4.
