minna@casarotto.co.ukBefore Susan had even left school she won the Lloyds Bank Film Challenge at the age of fourteen with a ten-minute short called BUDDHA'S LEGS, and wrote a half hour comedy for Channel 4 called LIFE’S A BITCH starring Kathy Burke and Sean Hughes.
The incredibly successful TWO PINTS OF LAGER AND A PACKET OF CRISPS, starring Sheridan Smith, was Susan’s first ever BBC commission and went on to run for ten years before ending in 2011. Susan also created and wrote GROWNUPS, which ran for three series on BBC Three.
Most recently, Susan wrote the six part sitcom ROSIE MOLLOY GIVES UP EVERYTHING for Hartswood Films, also starring Sheridan, which launched on Sky Comedy in late 2022.
